Costa Rica is a Central American country that obtains most of its electricity from various renewable energy sources: hydroelectric power plants, geothermal sources, wind power, biomass and solar power. National targets encourage the promotion of development and investment in the sector. With the support of the Honorary Consulate General of Costa Rica in British Columbia, ExpoPlaza Latina brought passionate speakers to tell us all about initiatives in renewable energies.
