Luis Brasdefer is a Financial Lawyer with Master in Administration and Diploma in International Trade. His professional experience includes both, Public and Private sectors. In the Mexican Federal Government he has occupied positions such as General Legal Director for the Federal Treasury; General Legal Director for the Agriculture Development Bank; Deputy General Director at the Ministry of Finance and General Legal Director at the Commission for the Protection of Users of Financial Services. In the private sector Mr. Brasdefer has been head of the legal areas of various Financial Institutions.
Luis Brasdefer lives in Canada since 2004 where he founded his own international business consultancy firm and in early 2013 was appointed “Trade and Investment Commissioner for Western Canada” by the Federal Government of Mexico.
